I have been so so blessed by the Christian organizations here- GBU (which is InterVarsity in the US), and now Agape (which is Campus Crusade/Cru)! I have been going to GBU with two other girls from my program, and recently was volunteered to lead a bible study. As my friend said, if it fills you with terror YOU SHOULD DO IT. And so I did :) With help from my awesome friends from IV and here in France. It boiled down to the fact that if I want to travel and work with missions organizations in the future, I need to step out of my comfort zone at some point :P
I found out about Agape through another friend here, and went on a weekend retreat with them without knowing anyone other than the Americans! It was such a good time of fellowship and new friends, in the home of a midwife surrounded by farms. She is basically living my dream life. I did get to speak with her, in English too! The countryside was gorgeous, and just barely outside the city! I adored every moment <3 Last night someone mentioned that we'd had 12 different nationalities at the weekend. IT WAS AWESOME! I am always fascinated to hear everyone's different stories, and how they all ended up in a small city in Bretagne from all around the world.
These aren't my pictures, but I am eternally grateful for those who took them!

We played Dutch Blitz. But not any Dutch Blitz, full body version! It deteriorated into running and screaming numbers in French to place the giant cards in the middle! |
I want to stay here forever :)
The body of Christ is SO COOL to experience with so many different cultures together!
More to come soon- our last excursion was to see CASTLES! SO MANY CASTLES!
